Each database is based on a valid combination of what you are counting (persons, families or dwellings) and the reference location or method of count (Place of Enumeration, Place of Usual Residence, or Place of Work).

Counting Persons, Place of Usual Residence

This database enables you to count people, where they usually live (Place of Usual Residence). It contains only persons classifications.

Counting Employed Persons, Place of Work


The Employed Persons database records a person's labour force status for the week prior to Census Night and excludes persons under 15 years of age. It allows you to count people where they go to work (Place of Work), where they usually live (Place of Usual Residence) and where they were counted (Place of Enumeration).
