Count of Persons in Family (CPRF)

New for 2011, this variable counts all persons in a family. This includes other related individuals as defined by the Relationship in Household (RLHP) variable (including in-laws). It is derived from Relationship in Household (RLHP) and Count of Persons Temporarily Absent from Family (CPAF). It includes up to three persons who were temporarily absent from the family on Census Night.

Count of Persons in Family (CPRF) is applicable to all families enumerated in private dwellings.

For further information see the data quality statements for Family Composition (FMCF) and Relationship in Household (RLHP).

More information on CPRF is available in the link 2011 Census Dictionary (cat. no. 2901.0).
