Australian Bureau of Statistics Gifts and Benefits Register
The ABS gifts and benefits policy advises that officials must not accept gifts or benefits in the course of their work duties which might reasonably be seen to compromise their integrity. Officials are required to report the acceptance of any gift or benefit within 28 days, through an internal gifts and benefits register. The Program Manager, Risk, Planning and Policy Branch within the ABS has oversight and reviews all reported gifts and benefits.
The ABS Gifts and Benefits Register lists all gifts and benefits accepted by Senior Executive Staff over AUD$100.00 (excluding GST) since the 18 October 2019. This register is updated quarterly.
No gifts and/or benefits have been accepted by Senior Executive Staff of the ABS, for the period 18 October 2019 to 31 December 2019.
