• Payroll jobs, up 0.5%
• Total wages, up 0.3%

Seasonally adjusted estimates for November 2022:

• Total job vacancies were 444,200, a decrease of 4.9% from August 2022.
• Private sector vacancies were 396,800, a decrease of 6.0% from August 2022.
• Public sector vacancies were 47,400, an increase of 6.0% from August 2022.

During 2019-20 there were:

• 20.0 million job relationships, down 0.7% on 2018-19
• 14.3 million employed persons, up 1.1% on 2018-19

During the year ending February 2022:

• 1.3 million people (or 9.5% of employed people) changed jobs, the highest annual job mobility rate since 2012.
• The share of job mobility remained highest for Professionals, at 22% of those who changed jobs.
• 2.1 million people left or lost a job.
• The annual retrenchment rate was 1.5%, which was the lowest annual rate on record (since 1972).

Payroll jobs:

• up 0.3% in the fortnight up to 27 November 2021
• up 0.5% in the previous fortnight (to 13 November 2021)
