At the end of your Census field work, you will be required to return your loan phone. Please note that purchasing the phone is not an option. However, the wall charger, USB cable and hands-free set may be kept, disposed of appropriately or returned with the device for recycling.
Before returning your device you will need to:
To do this, follow the steps below.
1. Press the dial icon button on the bottom left of the home screen.
2. Enter in the number *#06#

3. Wait momentarily while "USSD code running" is displayed.
4. Please write down the phone number of the device for later usage.
1. Open your phone settings by swiping down from the top of the Home screen (or swipe up from the bottom of the screen) and press the settings ‘Cog'.
2. Tap on "Accounts and backup".
3. Tap on “Manage accounts”
4. Tap the account you want to remove and then click "Remove account".
5. Tap "Remove account." Then “Remove account” again. Then tap “OK”. Enter your PIN and press continue.
6. The Google account should now be removed.
If there are no other accounts on the device, skip to the section ‘Factory reset through the settings menu’.
If there are still other accounts in the list, for example a Samsung account like below please follow on to the next section for how to remove other accounts.
Please note this was not a required step to get the phone operational so this step might not be necessary. If so, move to following step (factory reset).
1. Open settings by swiping down from the top of the Home screen (or swipe up from the bottom of the screen) and press the settings ‘Cog’.
2. From Settings, swipe to and tap “Accounts and backup”
3. Tap on “Manage accounts”, and then select your Samsung account.
4. Tap "Remove account”. Now tap “Remove account” on the popup. Now tap “Sign out”. Enter Samsung account password and tap “OK”
All accounts should now be removed. If other accounts exist (these could be Telegram or WhatsApp as examples), please remove using previous steps.
1. Open settings by swiping down from the top of the Home screen (or swipe up from the bottom of the screen) and press the settings ‘Cog’
2. Scroll down and then tap on general management.
3. Tap on reset.
4. Tap on factory data reset.
5. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on Reset.
6. Enter the phone pin and click “next”.
7. Click “delete all” and the phone will reset over the next few minutes.
8. After the restart the phone will display a “Welcome!” screen.
9. Hold down the power button on the right-hand side of the phone (single button under the volume up and down buttons) for 2 seconds and press “power off”.
Please wipe the phone down and remove any residue as best as possible and replace phone into box.
Please be sure that you have completed the steps above to remove all accounts and have completed a factory reset.

After emailing IMEI support with these details you need to wait for a response email with an Australia Post return label. You may receive an auto-response with a case number that you can quote for follow up with after 48 hours.
If you have been provided with an Australia Post return label via email, you will need to attend an Australia Post outlet to complete this return.

These instructions provide guidance on how to remove the MyWork app and the MyWork training app from your mobile phone.
Unenrolment is the process of removing the work profile for Android devices and root profile for Apple devices created during the setup process. This also uninstalls all work resources such as the MyWork app and the MyWork training app.

Step 1: From your Android device, open Settings.
Step 2: From the Settings page, scroll down and tap on Work profile.
Step 3: From the Work profile page, scroll down and tap on Uninstall Work profile.
Step 4: This should bring up a pop-up alert 'Uninstall work profile?' asking if you want to uninstall your work profile. Tap on Uninstall.
Restarting the device will remove the work profile and its related apps and resources from your Android device.
Note - titles and appearance of settings may differ slightly from phone to phone.
Step 1: Open Settings and select Accounts.
Step 2: In the accounts list, select the Work, tab, then select Remove work profile (some phones won't have a tab display and will instead list the ABS as selectable in a list).
Step 3: Your phone will display a version of an 'Are you sure?' message. Confirm that you would like to delete the work profile. In most cases you will need to select Delete.
Step 4: Open the Play Store and search for MobileIron Go. On the app page, select MobileIron Go, then select Uninstall (you may need to select the app icon before the Uninstall button appears).
Restarting the device will remove the work profile and its related apps and resources from your Android device.
Note - some Android devices do not have the work profile in their settings. If this is the case, please follow this procedure to uninstall MobileIron Go.
Step 1: Open workspace.
Step 2: Tap on the 3 vertical dots, in the top right corner.
Step 3: Select 'Workspace settings'.
Step 4: From the Workspace settings, tap on 'Uninstall'.
Step 5: Restart the device. This will completely remove the work profile from your device.
Step 1: From your iOS device open Settings by tapping on settings icon.
Step 2: From the settings page, scroll down and tap on General.
Step 3: From the General page, tap on Device Management.
Step 4: From the Device Management page, tap on Root MDM Profile.
Step 5: From the profile page of Root MDM Profile, tap on Remove Management.
Note - if your device has a passcode, you may be asked to enter it at this stage.
Step 6: Tap on Remove Management from the pop-up.
Restarting the device will remove the profile and its related apps and resources from your Apple device.
