About this Release	ABOUT THIS RELEASE The Experimental Composite Leading Indicator (XCLI) is a single time series designed to provide early signals of turning points in the Australian business cycle. The XCLI has been developed to supplement rather than to compete with existing forms of economic analysis and forecasting.
