This group covers R&D directed towards the public health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, Maori and Pacific Peoples. It includes the study of social and cultural factors affecting the health of these populations and the delivery of health services to these communities.
This group has ten objectives:

    920306 Maori Health - Health System Performance (incl. Effectiveness of Interventions)
    920307 Pacific Peoples Health - Determinants of Health
    920308 Pacific Peoples Health - Health Status and Outcomes
    920309 Pacific Peoples Health - Health System Performance (incl. Effectiveness of Interventions)
    920399 Indigenous Health not elsewhere classified

    Exclusions:
    a) The causes, effects and treatment of specific clinical conditions is included in Group 9201 Clinical Health (Organs, Diseases and Abnormal Conditions).
    b) Evaluation of health care programs and policies is included in Group 9202 Health and Support Services.
    c) Health as it pertains to the general population and specific non-indigenous communities is included in Groups 9204 Public Health (excl. Specific Population Health) and 9205 Specific Population Health (excl. Indigenous Population Health).
