STANDARD INPUT CATEGORIES
21. In the Short and Basic question modules, there is a question asking the respondent's 'main source of income'. In instruments using these modules, the input categories are the response categories from that question. The Full module collects a separate value for each source and 'Principal source of cash income' is derived by comparing the sum of values attributed to each source at the desired level of the classification.
22. The following table maps responses to the principal source questions in the Short (Question 5) and Basic (Question 10) question modules to the Standard classification of sources of cash income.
