DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 4.3% in June and is now showing falls for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.5% in June and has now fallen for four months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 2.0% in June and is now showing falls for nine months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.6% in June and has now fallen for 18 months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 0.4% in June and has now fallen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.3% in June after falling for 16 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 0.2% in June after rising for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.1% in June and has now risen for four months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 1.0% in June and has now fallen for seven months.
