DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 5.6% in December and has fallen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.2% in December and has fallen for six months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 2.5% in December and has risen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses was flat in December after rising for 11 months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 0.8% in December and has fallen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.4% in December and has risen for nine months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 2.4% in December and has fallen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.5% in December and has fallen for three months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 1.3% in December and has fallen for four months.
