WHEAT GRAIN STORED

Total wheat grain stored by bulk grain handlers, growers and users at the end of July 2011 was 12.6 million tonnes.

Wheat grain stored by bulk grain handlers at the end of July 2011 was 11.4 million tonnes, of which 6.1 million tonnes (53%) was graded for milling and 5.4 million tonnes (47%) graded for feed.

Wheat grain growers and users stored 1.1 million tonnes of wheat grain at the end of July 2011, which was a decrease of 194 thousand tonnes from June 2011. Allowing for the poor harvest conditions, this year's total was still 67 thousand tonnes more than in July 2010.
