NUMBER OF LIVESTOCK EXPORTED

Live exports quarterly original movements for June 2015:

Exports of live cattle
Live cattle exports rose by 73%, to 436,000 head. Of the total cattle exported, 61% or 265,000 were exported to Indonesia and 25% or 108,000 to Viet Nam.

Exports of live sheep
Live sheep exports rose by 47%, to 579,000 head. Of the total sheep exported, 35% or 201,000 were exported to the United Arab Emirates and 24% or 136,000 to Kuwait.
