TAXATION PER CAPITA


In 2014-15, taxation per capita was $18,888, an increase of 0.9% from $18,719 in 2013-14.

The Commonwealth Government taxation per capita decreased by -0.2% from $15,164 in 2013-14 to $15,137 in 2014-15.

The average taxation per capita for state and local governments combined in 2014-15 was $3,781, an increase of 5.5% from $3,585 in 2013-14.

All states recorded an increase in taxation per capita from 2013-14 to 2014-15. Northern Territory recorded the highest percentage increase in taxation per capita, rising 23.3%. Western Australia recorded the lowest increase with taxation per capita rising 1.8%.
