MAJOR COMPONENTS OF TOTAL TAXATION REVENUE


Income taxes levied on individuals in 2015-16 represented 41.3% of total taxation revenue, up from 38.4% in 2010-11. In comparison, income taxes levied on enterprises represented 15.3%, down from 19.4% in 2011-12.

GST revenue in 2015-16 represented 13.0% of total taxation revenue for all levels of government.
