REVISIONS
Since the previous issue of this publication, revisions have been made to align with the data published in the March quarter 2018 issue of Balance of Payments and International Investment Position, Australia (cat. no. 5302.0), released on 5 June 2018 and Australian National Accounts: National Income, Expenditure and Product (cat. no. 5206.0), released on 6 June 2018. On an international merchandise trade basis, goods exports and imports have been revised back to October 2017.
The following goods and services debits components have been revised since the release of the March 2018 issue of International Trade in Goods and Services, Australia (cat. no. 5368.0):
- capital goods n.e.s. component of goods debits, revised back to January 2018
- other services component of services debits, revised back to January 2018.
In original terms the revisions have increased the surplus on goods and services for the nine months to March 2018 by $56m.
