Summary Comments

Agriculture, forestry and fishing
  • The trend estimate decreased 1.6%. The seasonally adjusted estimate fell 8.9%.

Mining
  • The trend estimate fell 3.9%. The seasonally adjusted estimate fell 6.1% due to weather event disruptions across a range of commodities.

Manufacturing
  • The trend estimate fell 0.6% while the seasonally adjusted estimate fell 2.4% with falls seen across most sub-divisions within the industry.

Transport, postal and storage services
  • The trend estimate decreased 0.1%, while the seasonally adjusted estimate fell 1.3% with falls in road and rail transport due to flooding.
