Exclusions:
a) The characteristics, propagation, growing and harvesting of crops for use as biomass or conversion to biofuels is included in Division 82 Plant Production and Plant Primary Products.
b) Production of non-energy mineral resources is included in Division 84 Mineral Resources (excl. Energy Resources).
c) Manufacture of processed products from energy mineral resources (e.g. lubricants, plastics, synthetic resins and paints) is included in Division 86 Manufacturing.
d) Design of buildings to minimise energy consumption in the finished building is included in Group 8702 Construction Design.
e) Distribution of non-energy products, other than water, through pipelines is included in Group 8899 Other Transport.
f) Water distribution and waste handling services such as collection, storage, recycling and disposal provided by local councils or private or non-profit waste management businesses are included in Group 9004 Water and Waste Services.
g) Air quality; control of pests, diseases and exotic species; ecosystem assessment and management; flora, fauna and biodiversity; land and water management; rehabilitation of degraded areas; remnant vegetation and conservation areas; soils; and natural hazards in mining environments or other environments affected by energy activities and greenhouse gas sequestration are included in Division 96 Environment.
