The ABS has identified an unrealistically high number of deaths from 2012 to 2014 being attributed to persons born in Isle of Man. For the Australian population born in Isle of Man, this has resulted in an underestimate for the period 2012 to 2015.
Country classification and codes are from the: Standard Australian Classification of Countries (SACC), 2016 (cat. no. 1269.0)
The sex ratio relates to the number of males per 100 females. In this data cube, the sex ratio is defined for the total population, overseas-born population, each main region of birth, and each selected country of birth. It has been calculated for those countries of birth with a population of 100 persons or more.
