  • In the past decade the median age at first marriage has steadily increased for both sexes reaching 29.9 years for males and 27.8 years for females in 2008.
  • The crude divorce rate has decreased over the last decade, falling from 2.9 divorces per 1,000 of the estimated resident population in 1998 to 2.2 in 2008.
