In January, ABS published an Information paper ABS Views on Remoteness (Cat. no. 1244.0) seeking comments on proposals for change to the Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC). This new paper summarises the comments, responds to common questions and suggestions and describes changes ABS will make based on the feedback.
