The Multi-Agency Data Integration Project Basic Longitudinal Extract, 2011-2016 (2011 Cohort) microdata product (herein referred to as the Basic Longitudinal Extract (2011)) is the first Multi-Agency Data Integration Project longitudinal microdata product to be made available in the DataLab for authorised researchers.

The main purpose of the Basic Longitudinal Extract (2011) is to allow the value of the Multi-Agency Data Integration Project to be realised by safely providing a curated, user-friendly and policy-relevant research dataset for authorised researchers to conduct statistical analysis and research. The dataset does not include any direct identifiers (such as name and address) and can be accessed in the secure DataLab.

An overview of the Basic Longitudinal Extract (2011) microdata product can be found on the Product overview page, including a description of the data included in the microdata product.

Further information about the microdata product, including the scope and coverage, the linking methodology and sources of error, is available on the Methodology page.

Details about the data items included in the microdata product are on the Data items page. A Data Items List is available in the Downloads tab.

Selected tables and insights created from the microdata product are presented on the Selected tables and insights page and are also available in the Downloads tab.
