TASMANIA

In 2011, there were 135 victims of sexual assault of whom 110 (82%) were female. Victims of sexual assault were victimised by a family member in 26% of cases, including 7.4% who were victimised by a partner; 13% were victimised by a stranger.

There were 90 person victims of robbery in Tasmania, of whom 69% were male. For all person victims of robbery, 85% reported that the offender was a stranger.
