18 AMUSEMENT AND LEISURE SERVICES, NOT ELSEWHERE CLASSIFIED


1801 AMUSEMENT PARK AND SIMILAR ATTRACTION SERVICES

      Includes:

        amusement park services; and

        attractions and fun fair services.


      Excludes:

        operation services of preserved railways (included in Class 0104).

1802 POKER/GAMING MACHINE SERVICES
      Includes:

        provision of single-game poker machines, multi-game poker machines and card machines (such as draw poker and blackjack) as gambling options.

1803 KENO SERVICES
      Includes:

        provision of Keno in pubs, clubs and other outlets. Keno is a lotto-style game where players select their desired numbers prior to the game commencing.

      Excludes:

        casino Keno services (included in Class 1809).

1804 LOTTERIES, LOTTO-STYLE GAMES AND FOOTBALL POOL SERVICES
      Includes:

        all lottery-style games where consumers purchase tickets in advance of the lottery draw.

1805 'INSTANT MONEY' SALES SERVICES
      Includes:

        sales of instant money scratch tickets sold by lottery agents, newsagents and kiosks. Consumers will know immediately upon scratching the ticket whether or not a prize has been won. Instant money services do not have draws to determine prize winners.

1806 TAB/TOTALISATOR SERVICES
      Includes:

        both on-course and off-course betting services provided by the TAB. Consumers can place bets on thoroughbred, harness and dog racing directly at the course, through an agency or from their own homes via the telephone or the Internet. Some TAB services also provide the facility to bet on other sports such as football and cricket.

1807 BOOKMAKING SERVICES
      Includes:

        services provided by both on-course and off-course bookmakers. These services allow consumers to bet on a variety of sports and, as with the TAB, consumers can place bets on-course or from their own homes via the telephone or the Internet.

1808 CASINO GAME SERVICES (EXCLUDING GAMING MACHINES AND KENO)
      Includes:

        the provision of a variety of gambling games conducted at casinos, such as roulette and blackjack.

1809 CASINO KENO SERVICES
      Includes:

        Keno games run and operated only in the casino.

      Excludes:

        Keno services (included in Class 1803).

1810 OTHER GAMBLING AND BETTING SERVICES
      Includes:

        online gambling services; and

        all other gambling and betting services not elsewhere classified.


1811 COIN-OPERATED AMUSEMENT MACHINE SERVICES
      Includes:

        providing services of coin-operated amusement machines (table soccer games, air hockey games, pinball games, video games); and

        providing services of coin-operated recreational games and rides (coin-operated children's rides).


      Excludes:

        providing rides, games and attractions bundled with admission to an amusement arcade or theme park (included in Class 1801);

        gambling using electronic and mechanical gambling machines, such as slot machines and video lottery terminals (included in Class 1810); and

        renting of space to others to place rides or game machines (out of scope of the classification).


1812 HIRE SERVICES OF EQUIPMENT FOR PARTIES, FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS
      Includes:

        hire services of crockery, cutlery and glasses;

        hire services of marquees, dance floors and seating; and

        hire services of drink dispensing and cooling equipment, juke boxes and sound systems.


      Excludes:

        leasing, renting or hiring services concerning other electrical and electronic home entertainment equipment (included in Class 2401);

        leasing, renting or hiring services concerning pre-recorded records, sound cassettes, compact disks and similar accessories (included in Class 2402);

        leasing, renting or hiring services concerning furniture and household appliances (out of scope of the classification);

        leasing or rental services concerning: books, journals and magazines; cameras, photo equipment, binoculars and other optical goods; flowers and plants; watches and clocks etc; musical instruments (out of scope of the classification); and

        leasing, renting or hiring services concerning medical equipment and paramedical equipment (out of scope of the classification).


1813 OTHER RECREATION AND AMUSEMENT SERVICES, NOT ELSEWHERE CLASSIFIED
      Includes:

        presentation of floral festivals and community festivals;

        operation of, and access services to ballrooms, dance halls and other recreational facilities;

        operation of ski hills;

        recreation park and beach services; and

        production and presentation services for "sound and light" performances, fireworks.


      Excludes:

        services of operation of and access to sports and recreational sports facilities (included in Class 1406);

        personal theatrical or artistic agency services (included in Class 2506);

        motion picture, television and other theatrical casting services (included in Class 2506); and

        non-residential property management services on a fee or contract basis (out of scope of the classification).
