DIFFERENTIAL REPORTING OF INDIGENOUS STATUS

This section examines how likely it was for people with different characteristics to have been identified as being of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander origin on both their Census and death registration records. It also compares the propensity to identify in the Census only, and on the death registration record only, among people with various characteristics. The following characteristics are examined:
