Providing feedback

Information about the feedback process for the review of ANZSCO.

The upcoming consultation round to provide feedback opens on 25 July and will end on 6 September 2024.

Organisations and individuals can express their views and provide feedback on the proposed changes to be made to the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO), through the ABS Consultation Hub.

Feedback will require basic contact details about you and your organisation as well as responses to survey questions about the draft classification.  All feedback will be assessed on merit of the content provided regardless of whether the feedback represents whole of organisation or individual views.

How to provide feedback

  1. Go to the ABS Consultation Hub.
  2. Read the information on the Overview page. A PDF version of the questions is available in the ‘Guide on how to provide feedback’ at the bottom of the Overview page to use for information and drafting prior to providing feedback.
  3. To access the online feedback form click on ‘ANZSCO Comprehensive Review Round 4 online survey’.
  4. Complete your contact details.
  5. Open the link to the draft classification for information and context.
  6. Provide responses to the questions that are relevant to you.
  7. Before submitting your feedback, use the ‘First’ button to review all your answers. Once you have pressed ‘Submit Response’ you will not be able to make changes.
  8. Press 'Submit Response' button and receive confirmation of your feedback, a receipt number and a PDF copy of your feedback by email.
  9. If your organisation requires you to make your feedback on letterhead or with your leader’s endorsement, you can email additional supporting documentation with your feedback receipt number to updating.anzsco@abs.gov.au
