CHAPTER 5 CORRESPONDENCE TABLES
INTRODUCTION
The following correspondences align the classifications contained in the ASRC 1998 with those contained in the ANZSRC 2008.
The Research Fields, Courses and Disciplines (RFCD) classification is matched with the Fields of Research classification, while the ASRC and ANZSRC versions of the Socio-economic Objective (SEO) classifications are matched.
No correspondence is provided for RFCD Divisions 210000 and 220000 and Discipline 320100, as these categories were not used for the classification of R&D.
The Type of Activity classification did not change.
The correspondences are formatted by placing the structure of the reference classification on the left and the categories which align with the reference category on the right.
A 'p' after a code indicated that only a part of the category matches the reference category.
