Australia's population soon to reach 24 million

In the coming days, Australia’s population will tick over to 24 million, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics' (ABS) population clock.

The ABS will issue a short video animation on the journey to 24 million, as well as interesting facts and figures to coincide with this milestone.

The animation will be available on the ABS website from 11.30 on Monday, 15 February. Please feel free to share this video as part of your coverage.
