ABS to release re-benchmarked labour force data

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) will release re-benchmarked labour force data based on the latest Estimated Resident Population, at 11.30am on Wednesday, 9 September, 2015.

This release will contain data up to and including July 2015.

The ABS re-benchmarks labour force data once a quarter in February, May, August and November to ensure the labour force estimates are based on the most up to date population estimates.

For future quarters the ABS will continue to make re-benchmarked labour force estimates available prior to the release of Labour Force, Australia (Cat. No 6202.0).
