ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of alterations and additions to residential building fell 1.3% in September and has fallen for five months. NON-RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of non-residential building approved fell 2.5% in September and has fallen for nine months. The trend estimates for the value of non-residential building approved should be interpreted with caution. See the data notes on page 2 of this publication.
