Main Features Dwelling Units Approved Dwelling Units Approved, States and Territories Dwelling Units Approved, State Trends Value of Building Approved Data Cubes About this Release Number of dwelling units approved rose 2.3% in July 2010 (Media Release)	DWELLING UNITS APPROVED TOTAL DWELLING UNITS The trend estimate for total dwellings approved fell 2.5% in July 2010 and is showing falls for five months. In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate rose 2.3% to 13,732 dwellings. PRIVATE SECTOR HOUSES The trend estimate for private sector houses approved fell 1.7% in July and has fallen for seven months. In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate fell 0.1% to 8,624 houses. PRIVATE SECTOR OTHER DWELLINGS The trend estimate for private sector other dwellings approved rose 0.5% and is now showing rises for 13 months.
