Gross value quarterly original movements for March 2016:
- The gross value of cattle and calves slaughtered fell by nearly 10% in the March quarter to $2,773 million
- The gross value of poultry slaughtered also fell in the March quarter, down by 3.7% to $667 million
- Conversely, the gross value of pigs and sheep and lambs slaughtered each rose in the March quarter, up by 0.9% (to $839 million) and 4.2% (to $337 million), respective
