Replacement content

Some content in this publication has been replaced on 6 July 2011 to correct a few errors in two tables and associated text references. Content has been replaced in Datacubes 15: Children aged 0-17 years with a natural parent living elsewhere, Contact arrangements by age of child, 1997, 2003, 2006–07, 2009–10 and 16: Children aged 0-17 years with a natural parent living elsewhere, Whether covered by child support arrangements by age of child. Content in the Summary of Findings relating to Child support arrangements has also been corrected.

The number of grandparent families quoted in the Summary of findings has also been revised down due to a correction and subsequent rounding.

In Datacube 15 (Worksheet 15_1) the corrections affect incorrect percentages relating to children's contact with their parent living elsewhere, specifically whether or not they have indirect contact with that parent. The estimates and RSE's presented are not affected.

In Datacube 16 (Worksheets 16_1, 16_2, 16_3 and 16_4) the corrections affect estimates, proportions and RSEs for children aged 15-17 years, for the cells regarding "Whether child is covered by a child support arrangement". This consequently affects the total column for all children aged 0-17 years who have a parent living elsewhere. This correction also results in some figures being corrected in the Summary of Findings in the section titled "Child support arrangements".
