AUSTRALIAN SOCIAL TRENDS: SEMINAR SERIES

The first of four issues of Australian Social Trends 2009 (AST) was released on 25 March 2009. The publication is now available quarterly after being issued annually from 1994 to 2008. AST aims to provide a snapshot of particular aspects of Australian society and how things have changed over time. In the course of a year, articles will cover a wide range of areas of social concern including: population, family and community, health, education and training, work, economic resources, housing, crime and justice, environment, transport and communication.

Throughout the year a series of seminars will be presented and the slides will be made available on this web page. This follows a successful 2008 Australian Social Trends seminar series.
