CHARACTERISTICS OF INCIDENTS OF FRAUD

This section explores the characteristics of the incidents of the different fraud types: credit or bank card fraud, identity theft and scams. Survey respondents were asked about various aspects of their personal fraud experience, such as how many incidents they experienced, whether they were informed by an agency of the incident or reported it to an agency, how they discovered the fraud incident, and how much money they lost.
