AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY

  • In 2015-16, the SA2 with the largest population increase in the Australian Capital Territory was ACT - South West (up by 1,400 to reach 5,000 people), which contains the new suburbs Wright and Coombs. Other areas with large growth included the northern SA2s of Casey (670), Crace (520), Franklin (470), Harrison (450) and Bonner (410).
  • ACT - South West was also the fastest growing SA2 in the Australian Capital Territory (and in Australia) in 2015-16, up by 38%. This was followed by Casey (15%), Crace (14%) and Bonner (8.0%).
