Detailed information on products: Labour Force, Australia (cat. no. 6202.0)

Data from the Labour Force Survey are released in two stages.

The initial release of data occurs with the flagship publication of Labour Force, Australia (cat. no. 6202.0). This product includes key measures such as: the number of employed and unemployed, the unemployment rate, the labour force underutilisation rate, the labour force participation rate, gross flows, and aggregate monthly hours worked at Australia and State/Territory level. This product contains a publication, spreadsheets and datacubes. Note: Prior to February 2009, all spreadsheets relating to Labour Force, Australia (cat. no. 6202.0) were released in Labour Force, Australia, Spreadsheets (cat. no. 6202.0.55.001).


The second release of data occurs one week after the first and contains detailed information from the Labour Force Survey. The second release data is published in three catalogues: Labour Force, Australia, Detailed - Electronic Delivery (cat. no. 6291.0.55.001), Labour Force, Australia, Detailed, Quarterly (cat. no. 6291.0.55.003) and Labour Force, Australia: Labour Force Status and Other Characteristics of Families - Electronic Delivery (cat. no. 6224.0.55.001). The products contain spreadsheets and datacubes.
