The ABS compiles two price indexes relating to the manufacturing industry: the Price Index of Materials Used in Manufacturing Industries; and the Price Index of Articles Produced by Manufacturing Industries. More information on the concepts underlying these indexes and other price indexes produced by the ABS is provided in Prices.

Tables 18.25 and 18.26 set out index numbers for selected components of the two price indexes.
