MAIN ABS DATA SOURCES

Environment Attitudes and Practices

Whilst the ABS has limited direct sources of environmental information, a broad range of
information on social and economic activities is available. This information, as well as
information from external agencies, is used to produce a variety of publications
relating to the environment, including:

Environment Protection Expenditure (4603.0)
Australian Transport and the Environment (4605.0)
Australian Agriculture and the Environment (4606.0)
Energy Accounts for Australia (4604.0)



RELATED ABS DATA SOURCES

Environment-related information is also available from a range of other ABS sources.
Examples include:
Agricultural Census - farm forestry, fencing to protect
land from regular grazing
Census of Population and Housing - persons employed
in environment-related industries
