Q. Does the ABS have any information specific to University use?
A. Yes, under the Universities Agreement staff and students are not individually invoiced for their use of the priced ABS products and services in the Agreement. This is because Universities Australia has paid for access on behalf of universities.
Staff and students of these universities may use the products and services for the purposes of research, teaching and permitted commercial uses.
Some of the products and services available to Universities include:
- ABS CURFs
- Access to ABS Data Laboratory
- Census Table Builder
- Statistics New Zealand Basic CURFS
- Luxembourg Income Study
- Permitted commercial use under the Agreement
For more information on using CURFS under the Universities Agreement see frequently asked questions.
