A. The ABS does retain historical publications from 1994 onwards, these are available in full-text on the ABS website.
Q. What is the Library Extension Program?
A. The Library Extension Program (LEP) and Information Skills Program (ISP) have been discontinued due to recent changes to both the delivery of training and the focus for information services.
This program will be replaced with a new suite of training courses which will be offered on a cost-recovery basis through the Statistical Literacy Unit. The provision of free online learning tutorials and other resources will also be made available via the ABS website.
Q. Does the ABS provide services to assist Librarians?
A. Yes, the ABS recognises the importance of Librarians assisting clients in understanding ABS information. The Libraries page has been designed to assist librarians and other information professionals accessing various ABS products and services.
