Randall Brugeaud is the Deputy Australian Statistician leading the Corporate Services and Transformation Group.

The Corporate Services and Transformation Group is responsible for transforming the way the ABS operates as an organisation, both internally and as part of the wider information community; its statistical infrastructure; its people and culture; and the statistical solutions it delivers. The Group also delivers all corporate and enabling functions that allow the ABS to operate as a flexible, agile and responsive organisation.

In April and May 2018, Randall was seconded to the Digital Transformation Agency to act as its Chief Executive Officer.

Randall joined the ABS in August 2017 after two years working as Chief Information Officer at the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.

During a career spanning almost 30 years, Randall has worked in a wide range of technology and transformation roles in the public sector and spent more than a decade in the private sector working with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and a private IT consulting firm which he founded and operated.

Randall holds a Master of Business Administration degree, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Computing and a Bachelor of Education degree. He is also a Senior Executive Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
