| Jacky Hodges began her ABS career as a Graduate in 1997. She has worked across a number of areas including economic, population and industry statistics, and client services areas. Jacky was recently appointed Regional Director for Tasmania, having previously served as (acting) Regional Director for NSW. Jacky leads the office in delivering high quality statistics which aim to deliver the best set of official statistics for Tasmania. She achieves this through the use of ABS's extensive set of national outputs, complimented by relevant local statistics produced in collaboration with other agencies. In 2011, Jacky oversaw Tasmania's preparation and delivery of the Agricultural Census, and the Census of Population and Housing on 9 August 2011.
Jacky has an Applied Science degree (University of NSW) and post graduate qualifications in Statistics (Victoria University).
