The ABS web site

Improving the availability of official statistics to all Australians means everyone can now access all statistics on the ABS website free of charge.

You can download a range of data on the ABS web site, including:

  • electronic publications (in PDF and HTML);
  • Census data;
  • time series spreadsheets; and
  • data cubes.

Libraries

Visit your local library to access a range of ABS publications.

Are you a Uni student or staff member? If so, your library has access to the full range of ABS standard products. Please see your librarian for more information.


Purchase Detailed Data

Detailed and customised data is available for purchase. For further information please contact the ABS Consultancy Service to get customised data to suit your needs.


Subscribe to the ABS Email Notification Service

Subscribe to our free email notification service at any time. When your nominated products are released you will be notified by an email message which will link to our web site. This will enable you to download publications shortly after 11:30 am on their day of release. You may alter your subscription details or unsubscribe to the service at any time.
