| The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has created CensusAtSchool so that you can take part in an exciting Australia-wide data collection and analysis project.
The data collected for CensusAtSchool uses similar data collection methods to the Census of Population and Housing 2006.

Ngankat-kalo
| To commemorate the Centenary of Australian Federation in 2000, the ABS developed a collaborative project with the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Incorporated (VAEAI).
Ngankat-kalo (yesterday - today) is a website detailing 100 years of Koorie education in Victoria.
The results of this project can be seen on the VAEAI website. |
Water: Waste Not, Want Not
| Water is vital to life. It is an important resource in a continent as dry as Australia.
The Online Water Project investigates the issues surrounding water conservation in Australia, including the loss of wetlands, blue-green algae blooms, carp infestation, decline in native fish populations, increased salinity and high bacterial levels.
