Queensland has experienced positive net interstate migration for more than 30 years? Queensland was the most popular destination for Australians moving interstate in 2009-10, receiving the largest number of arrivals (86,400 persons). New South Wales and Victoria followed with 83,000 and 63,100 arrivals respectively.
