Crime and Safety, New South Wales (cat. no. 4509.1) Crimes and perceptions of crime in NSW, surveyed annually in most years since 1990.

NSW State and Regional Indicators (cat. no. 1338.1) Quarterly summary economic and social information about NSW as well as information about statistical releases, events and training for NSW based clients (2005-2011).
New South Wales at a Glance (cat. no. 1303.1) Condensed information about the state, released annually (1994-2004).
Sydney: A Social Atlas (cat. no. 2030.1) Presents colour maps and brief commentary that highlights social, demographic and housing characteristics of the population in Sydney, Wollongong and New Castle-Central Coast region. Released 5-yearly, based on Census data (1996-2006).
State Supplementary Surveys
State Supplementary Surveys focus on issues of particular interest for states and territories (1990-2010). Note: not all states and territories run regular supplementary surveys.

Historical Statistics
New South Wales Year Book (cat. no. 1301.1) portrays the state's physical geography, history, institutions and social and economic conditions (1904-05 to 2004).
All ABS publications since 1994 are available in full-text on the ABS website. The ABS is digitising a range of older publications on an ongoing basis:
The Historical Census and Colonial Data Archive (HCCDA) Australian Colonial census publications and reports (non-ABS site).
The National Library provides links to Australian family history and genealogy websites, including state and territory libraries which are a good source for copies of older ABS publications and family history information (non-ABS site).
