Household Income and Income Distribution, Australia (cat. no. 6523.0)
This publication presents estimates of the income and other characteristics of households and persons resident in private dwelling in Australia, compiled from the Survey of Income and Housing. It includes estimates of the level and distribution of household income.

Survey of Income and Housing, User Guide, Australia (cat. no. 6553.0)
Describes the definitions, concepts, methodology and estimation procedures used in the Survey of Income and Housing. It contains the questionnaire, a list of the data items, and background information about the survey. It is designed to assist researchers and analysts in utilising housing and income data produced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Government Benefits, Taxes and Household Income, Australia (cat. no. 6537.0) This publication presents the results of a study of the effect of taxation and government expenditure on the distribution of income among private households, compiled from data in the Survey of Income and Household (SIH) and Household Expenditure Survey (HES).

Estimates of Personal Income for Small Areas, Time Series (cat. no. 6524.0.55.002) is an annual release containing estimates of the number of individuals and the amount of income received from selected sources. Data are provided for geographies based on the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) - SA2, SA3, State/Territory and Australia, and local government estimates have been compiled using aggregated individual income tax data form the Australian Taxation Office.

Wage and Salary Earner Statistics for Small Areas, Time Series (cat. no. 5673.0.55.003) is released annually and includes estimates on selected characteristics of wage and salary earners such as age, sex, occupation and wage and salary income. Data are available for the various ASGS geographical levels and local government areas. These estimates have been compiled from the Australian Taxation Office's Individual Income Tax Return Database.

Expenditure

Household Energy Consumption Survey (cat. no. 4670.0) This product presents summary information collected from the 2012 Household Energy Consumption Survey and the Business Survey of Residential Electricity Distribution, Experimental Estimates conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The Household Energy Consumption Survey collected information on household energy expenditure, consumption, behaviours, perceptions and other characteristics related to household energy use. Information is presented across key items of interest and also features longitudinal analysis on household energy efficient improvements

Household Energy Consumption Survey, User Guide (cat. no. 4671.0) This user guide contains information about the Household Energy Consumption Survey conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics throughout 2012. The aim of the user guide is to assist users of data to better understand the potential and shortcomings in meeting their data needs.

Household Expenditure Survey, Australia (cat. no. 6530.0) This publication was conducted on a subsample of the household Survey of Income and Housing. It presents estimates of expenditure on broad categories of goods and services classified by various household characteristics. A datacube provides detailed tables additional to those included in the main publication.

Household Expenditure Survey and Survey of Income and Housing, User Guide (cat. no. 6503.0) It describes concepts, definitions, methodology and estimation procedures used in the Household Expenditure Survey and Survey Income and Housing. It also contains the questionnaires, lists of output data items and the Household Expenditure Classification.

Wealth

Household Wealth and Wealth Distribution, Australia (cat. no. 6554.0)
This publication presents estimates of the assets, liabilities and net worth of Australian households, compiled from the Survey of Income and Housing, it includes estimates of the distribution of net worth of households

Housing

Housing Occupancy and Costs (cat. no. 4130.0) This publication presents data form the Survey of Income and Housing on Australian housing occupancy and costs, and relates these to characteristics of occupants and dwellings such as tenure, family composition of household, dwelling structure, age, income and main source of income. It also includes value of dwelling estimates, and information on recent home buys.

Housing Mobility and Conditions, Australia, 2007–08 (cat. no. 4130.0.55.002) provides statistics compiled from the Survey of Income and Housing (SIH) on Australian housing mobility and dwelling conditions. These data were collected in the 2007-08 SIH, in addition to the housing occupancy and costs information regularly collected in every SIH cycle and released in Housing Occupancy and Costs, Australia (cat. no. 4130.0).

Superannuation

Employment Arrangements, Retirement and Superannuation, Australia, April to July 2007(cat. no. 6361.0) was released in November 2008. This publication presents summary results from the 2007 Survey of Employment Arrangements, Retirement and Superannuation (SEARS 2007), a household survey of persons aged 15 years and over resident in private dwellings throughout Australia between April and July 2007. The survey collected detailed information about employment arrangements, working patterns, work and caring, retirement and retirement intentions, superannuation coverage and other characteristics.

Survey of Employment Arrangements, Retirement and Superannuation, Australia: User Guide, April to July 2007 (cat. no. 6361.0.55.002) was released in November 2008. This publication describes the definitions, concepts, methodology and estimation procedures used in SEARS 2007.

Survey of Employment Arrangements, Retirement and Superannuation, Australia: State Tables, April to July 2007 (cat. no. 6361.0.55.003) was released in December 2008. This publication contains tables from the main SEARS 2007 publication (cat. no. 6361.0) as well as additional tables compiled for individual States and Territories.

Superannuation: Coverage and Financial Characteristics, Australia, June 2000 (cat. no. 6360.0) was released in September 2001. This publication presents results from the Survey of Employment Arrangements and Superannuation (SEAS) by selected socio-demographic characteristics. It presents information on whether people are contributing to superannuation, whether they are receiving a pension or annuity from superannuation, and the characteristics of people with different types of superannuation coverage.

Employment Arrangements and Superannuation, Australia, June 2000 (cat. no. 6361.0) was released in March 2001. It presents results from the Survey of Employment Arrangements and Superannuation (SEAS) by selected socio-demographic characteristics. It contains information about people's employment arrangements such as type of worker (eg casuals, owner managers); job duration and expected job duration; working patterns; extra paid and unpaid hours worked; and people's work preferences.
