Culture, Heritage and Leisure relates to the symbolic and learned aspects of human society and includes topics such as social norms, accepted behaviours and customs. The importance of cultural heritage to an individual's wellbeing has been acknowledged in various reports. While language and connection to land are issues for some people, they may not be applicable to every individual's life circumstance. The ability to attend and participate in community and social events has been found to be of importance to people.
