The ABS collects a range of information and communication technology (ICT) statistics as well as innovation and research & experimental development (R&D) statistics, as part of its innovation and technology statistics program. The Innovation and Technology National Statistics Centre (NSC) provides statistical leadership, including engagement with key external clients, complex analytical projects, international contribution and development of statistical infrastructure. The Innovation and Technology Business Statistics Centre (BSC) is responsible for the release of ICT, innovation and R&D statistics. Both the Innovation and Technology NSC and the Innovation and Technology BSC are part of the Macroeconomics and Integration Group (MIG).
