As part of its innovation and technology statistics program, the ABS collects a range of information and communication technology (ICT) statistics as well as innovation and research & experimental development (R&D) statistics. The Innovation and Technology Business Statistics Centre (BSC) provides statistical leadership, including engagement with key external clients; complex analytical projects; international contribution; development of statistical infrastructure; and, the release of ICT, innovation and R&D statistics. The Innovation and Technology BSC is part of the Macroeconomics and Integration Group (MIG).
